Los Jardines de Bruselas, después de un bien recibido Floating in Dreams, regresa a la escena musical con un nuevo sencillo de nombre Why Are We Here?, cual contiene la canción de mismo nombre y un b-side que se compone del track "Diamonds" (pista que abrió su álbum debut), sólo que ahora a manera de remix por parte de The Crystal Ship. De esta manera vuelven a reafirmar su propuesta de mantener un sonido de catchy synth-pop, pero con complementos muy a la usanza del chillwave o bedroom para no caer en lo empalagoso o lo grotesco que luego suele ser la electrónica pop. Y aunque en el remix sucede lo mismo, también notamos fondo ambient de relajación fantasmal, que me hace recordar mucho el Lullaby de FLYBVCK (¿serán los mismos samples?).

Lo que nos muestra Ezequiel de la Parra con este adelanto, es que su nueva producción viene para implantarnos bellos paisajes dentro de nuestros sueños: aún mejores que los que nos contagió anteriormente.

After a well-recieved album, Floating in Dreams, Los Jardines de Bruselas comes back with a new single named Why Are We Here?, same which contains the homonymous song and a B-Side, a remix of "Diamonds" (which in fact is the opening track for his debut album) by The Crystal Ship. With the usage of chillwave and bedroom-pop supplements, he reaffirms his established proposal for keeping a catchy, synth-pop sound without falling in the cheesy and almost sickly musical style of electropop. The "Diamonds" remix is no exception to the aforementioned manifesto, nevetheless we can as well notice an ambient background of ghostly relaxation, reminiscent to Lullaby by FLYBVCK (Could these be the same samples?).

What Ezequiel de la Parra shows us with this advance is that he is going to introduce beautiful landscapes to our dreams: even better than those he had already implanted before.
